Messer Europe is launching the
“One Europe - Excellence Awards” for the first time.

The One Europe - Excellence Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of our employees in the categories Safety, People Engagement, Growth, Continuous Improvement, and Logistics. All employees across Europe are invited to submit their nominations for excellent achievements by individuals or teams in one of the 5 categories. Between 17 March and 18 April 2025, all Messer employees across Europe can submit their nominations for one of the prestigious ‘One Europe - Excellence Awards’ on our award platform.

What is in for the winners?

The winning team or individual of each category will be invited to receive their award during our festive One Europe - Excellence Awards Ceremony 2025 that will take place at our European Management Meeting in June. In addition to the prestigious trophy and an unforgettable Gala Event the winners will receive a voucher for an exciting team event.

Award Categories

SAFETY
To further strengthen our proactive safety culture, we want to recognize with the safety award individuals or teams who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to safety, visible leadership and safety ownership going beyond mere compliance. Examples for nominations could be concrete actions or projects on innovative safety ideas, implementation of best practices, exceptional safety leadership, outstanding response to safety challenges or proactive incident prevention or risk mitigation.
PEOPLE
ENGAGEMENT
This award recognizes employees or teams who went the extra mile to create a positive, engaging, and supportive work environment. Whether it’s fostering teamwork and collaboration, positively shaping our company culture, boosting motivation, driving social engagement, or introducing innovative approaches for employee engagement.
GROWTH
The growth category acknowledges employees or teams that delivered exceptional results or innovations in growing our business sustainably, excluding one-time sales. Growth nominations could come from following areas: new small Onsite projects, innovative Pricing, Applications growth, boosting Cylinder growth, entering new market segments, or also grow the Bulk business and gaining market share.
CONTINUOUS
IMPROVEMENT
This award recognizes employees or teams that demonstrated outstanding efforts in improving operational business processes and solutions that are sustainable and ideally scalable. Examples for continuous improvement nominations could be easier and improved way of working, reduction of manual workload or non-value adding activities, increased efficiency, cost reductions or time savings.
LOGISTICS
The Best Logistic Performer award is based on 4 individual KPIs like in former years and calculated by the Central Logistics Team. No need to submit any nominations but the award will be granted in the same event. 😊
